DoorDash X Adobe
Designathon Project
Our task was to improve how college students can make healthier meal choices while using DoorDash. We created three prototypes: enhanced filters for healthy options, health-focused banners and displays, and group discounts with rewards for nutritious choices. These solutions aim to make healthy eating more intuitive and appealing.

Design Prompt
DoorDash’s mission is to revolutionize the food delivery service by providing a convenient and health-conscious experience for all users, especially college students. They aim to promote food transparency through features like clear nutritional information, meal recommendations, balanced options, calorie tracking, meal planning tools, and affordable healthy choices. However, college students still struggle to eat healthily due to limited options, busy schedules, and tight budgets. Your mission is to design an experience for users that will help them take better care of their health.
How might DoorDash enable college students to be more conscious of their health and diet?

Reflection
This is the first ever designathon that I attended. The entire event feels longer and more stressful than I thought. But I felt extremely rewarded to meet a lot of great designers and listen to some achieved designers’ story that brought them to the world of design.

I learned the importance of communication with teammates and was really happy to have such a collaborative team!
